An Innovative, Holistic Approach to Healing, Personal Growth, & Wellness

Holistic Psychotherapy: Philosophy & Approach
The Healing Arts Center of Richmond is a strengths-based, holistic psychotherapy practice founded on the belief that optimal health and wellness must take into account the whole person: mind, body, and spirit
Just as the body naturally gravitates towards growth, healing, and health when ill or injured, so does the mind and spirit strive for congruence, balance, and wholeness. Mind, body, and spirit are viewed as inseparable, integrated facets of the whole person, and so, for true healing and growth to occur, and to reach our greatest potential, all aspects of the whole person must be taken into account and addressed simultaneously.
I define Holistic Psychotherapy as the integration of traditional psychotherapy ("talk therapy") with complementary therapies and techniques that tap into the subconscious through art, music, energy and trauma work, as well as, movement, meditation, health & nutrition practices, to treat the whole person, mind-body-spirit, with the intention of creating optimal health and wellness.
Therapies, interventions, and techniques offered include:
