Katherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and President of The Healing Arts Center of Richmond, specializing in a truly holistic approach to healing, personal growth, and wellness that integrates mind, body & spirit. She earned her B.A. in Sociology from Texas Christian University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds a Post-B.A. Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond and is an E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher and a Reiki Master of Masters. She completed her Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University, as well as, Past-Life Regression Therapy training with Dr. Brian Weiss.
Katherine has over 20 years of experience in holistic psychotherapy and wellness, incorporating a diverse array of complementary therapies (see Specialized Training) including EMDR, Reiki, & Yoga, with more traditional psychotherapy, to foster clients'/participants' healing, optimal growth, & wellness.
Empowering clients to confront and process their core issues and challenges, utilizing innovative, holistic tools, techniques, and self-care practices, to facilitate healing, growth, and to realize their highest potential, has always been her passion and was the catalyst for creating The Healing Arts Center of Richmond in 2008.
Inspired by this passion and potential of the human spirit, Katherine is focusing her energy and attention on Healing Spaces, a division of The Healing Arts Center of Richmond, dedicated to creating and leading holistic retreats, workshops, and classes, since 2011.
