Surrounded by the snow-laced beauty of New England & the peaceful, inspiring energy of a retreat center, my mind-body-spirit is beautifully saturated. And I am reminded of the necessity of changing our culture's perspective on self-care.  Our need to go inward, to reflect, to become still, & listen to the voice within, is essential.  We crave it & we need to honor & trust the greater knowledge within ourselves that calls us to carve out time to be still, to process, to integrate. Without guilt and without excuses.
